Meet some of our happy residents
Lucille Philips of Eaves Green
Lucille moved to Eaves Green with husband Mike in 1990 after they sold their ‘bricks and mortar' home in Hemel Hempstead. “What I love about the park is the peace and quiet and the rural setting”. Says Lucille. “And we are so close to the centre of Meriden, the shops and the doctors surgery.”
Don Hilton of Swiss Farm
Don Hilton has been living at the park for over 47 years. He previously lived in Australia and then Windsor before finding Swiss Farm which he says is the ideal location. “Its such a friendly park, our own little village, and everyone has a cheery greeting.” Says Don. “The Morrisons have done the world of good for the park and have made it what it is today.”
Keith Wallace of Beech Park
After selling his ‘bricks and mortar' home in Cheddington, Bedfordshire, Keith Wallace found the ‘place of his dreams in Beech Park. “It was the woodland setting that first attracted me to the park.” says Keith. “The wildlife is amazing, especially the birds, and you really feel away from it all.” Keith has lived in his Omar home at Beech Park for six years.
Elaine Beard of Longcast Park
A serious accident and hip operation five years ago led Elaine and her husband Ken to search for more manageable living accommodation and a better quality of life. Their quest ended at Longcast Park where Elaine says they found the ideal location. “From day one, the management were fantastic and made us so welcome.” says Elaine. “Henry Morrison Junior couldnt do enough for me during my recovery and was always there to support us both. I really wouldn't live anywhere else.”
Ian and Myra Mckinstrie of Meriden Hall
After park home owner friends had persuaded the McAinstries to sell their house in Manchester to improve their lifestyle they scoured the Midlands for a suitable location. “It was my son who had moved to the Midlands that found Meriden Hall for us,” explains Ian. “We immediately fell in love with the beauty of this mature park with its traditional hedgerows and lawns. Its such a sociable neighbourhood and we are within walking distance of all the facilities and amenities we could ever need.”
